Antiche melodie d’amore
Antiche melodie d’amore is the debut album by Elisabetta Previati: a collection of original songs in Italian and English, inspired by love in all its forms, the feeling of distance from her homeland, and the literary works of Emily Dickinson, Zelda Fitzgerald, and Yasunari Kawabata. The album was recorded in Italy with the collaboration of highly regarded musicians from the world music scene, including a special feature with Welsh singer-songwriter The Gentle Good. The arrangements, refined and evocative, are by multi-instrumentalist Giovanni Chiapparino, and the entire project was recorded at Digressione Music Studio with an acoustic and organic approach. One of the tracks also features a subtle exploration of electronic music. Antiche melodie d’amore will be released independently on April 4, 2025, on all major digital platforms.
